Death Of A Friend

Today a friend died
I've known him so many years.
Today he left his body
And left me in tears.

Not because he is with Jesus
And now has sweet release
But because I miss him
Although he is in peace.

My sorrow is not for him.
He is now with Jesus,
My sorrow is for those left behind.
May we have God's love with us.
