You can be saved today.
YOU ARE A SINNER!!
This is no reflection upon your character or morality. All are sinners. God's word tells us that "All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:22,23) We all belong in that category (Isaiah 53:6)
IT IS A VERY SERIOUS MATTER TO BE LOST TODAY.
"For the Wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23.) This
is God's law. Sin pays wages. The wage is death. This is spiritual
death- "the second death-" separation from God.
You are separated from God today if you have not accepted Christ
as your Savior. In a time of serious need, have you tried to pray
and felt that God was far away? You are separated from God today.
Death in hell follows. (Matthew 13:42)
YOU CAN BE SAVED TODAY.
The same passage that explains the tragedy of being lost
also explains that you can be saved. "but the gift of God
is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Sin pays
the wage of death. All you have to do to receive this wage is
to continue in sin without asking God to save you. God gives us
the free gift of eternal life. All you have to do is to accept
it. We have earned death but God gives us life instead. It is a
free gift and it comes through Jesus. The penalty for sin is death
and Jesus died for our sins and paid that debt in our place. (1
Corinthians 15:3)
Do not be left behind when Jesus comes for His children. People
will be saved during the tribulation period but it will be nearly
impossible because if you do not accept the mark of the beast
then you can neither buy nor sell which means that you will not
even be able to buy food nor any of the things you will need to
just live. And if you do not accept that mark, you will be killed.
Why do you want to wait until that time to accept Him as your
Saviour? Would you be strong enough to do that during that time
and to survive the terrors you would have to suffer in order to
do it? Not to be able to even feed yourself or your family or
to even be allowed to live because of your faith? Do it now while
there is still time because God's word tells us that one day EVERY
KNEE SHALL BOW AND EVERY TONGUE SHALL PROCLAIM THAT HE IS GOD
(Isaiah 45:23 and 2 Romans 14:11) but for some, IT WILL BE
TOO LATE. Please, do it now.
"For God SO LOVED THE WORLD, (the people in it) that He gave
His only begotten (only born) Son, that WHOSEVER believeth in
Him (Jesus) should NOT PERISH, but should have EVERLASTING LIFE.
(John 3:16)
Can you imagine YOURSELF allowing YOUR ONLY SON
to die for someone else because that person had committed a crime?
Think about that. That is EXACTLY what God did for YOU. He
allowed His ONLY SON to die in YOUR place and in MY place to pay
for our sins. It is a free gift to us. All we have to do is
to take it and be sorry for our sins and to ask Jesus to forgive
us. Ask Him to save you and then believe with all of your heart
that He has done it. God cannot lie and that is His promise to
us. Read the above scripture again. He said that WHOSEVER believeth
in Him (Jesus) should NOT PERISH, but should have EVERLASTING
LIFE.
He says you are saved by believing. Paul and Silas told the
jail keeper, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou
shalt be saved…" (Acts 16:31) BELIEVE is the word used
throughout the Bible to tell you how to be saved.
You say, "I have always believed." Do you believe enough
that you are willing to take Him at His word? Are you willing
to trust your soul to Him? "For whosoever shall call upon
the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13) It is not
enough to just believe Jesus died on a cross. The devil himself
knows that. The key is to believe he died on that cross for YOUR sins
and then to CALL UPON HIM. ASK Him to save you and tell Him that
you believe He died in your place for YOUR sins. Accept that free
gift.
Romans 10:9 States that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Just confess that He is the son of God and you know He died for your sins and that you believe he rose again from the grave so that you, too, will overcome a spiritual death.
Will you, right now, knowing that you are lost…that Jesus
will save you…trust your soul to him? Right now? If so, He
will save you. If you have already trusted Him, He has already
saved you. If you haven't trusted Him to save you, just pray this
prayer now:
Dear Heavenly Father, I know that I am lost and I can do nothing
to save myself or to keep myself from going to hell when I die.
I know that if you came today to take Your children home, I would
be left behind. I believe Jesus died on the cross and paid the
penalty for my sin and I know all I have to do is to repent and
to be sorry for my sins, truly and honestly, and ask Jesus to
save me and He will. Lord, I confess that I am a sinner. I am sorry for my sins and I ask right now to be saved. I don't
want to die and go to hell and when You come again for Your children,
I do not want to be left behind. Please save me now. I believe.
