THANKS FOR THE COMMON THINGS
I'm glad for soft clean beds at night
For windows that let in the light
For all the furniture we use
For pretty clothes and shiny shoes.
Dear God, I'm glad for all of these,
and help me to remember, please,
a happy, thankful prayer to say
for common things I use each day.
Amen.
