Another Miracle For George

I received an e mail from George Bryant on February 24,
1999 that stated the following:

"I went to the VA and had an ultrasound examination of my abdominal area. The results came back to me yesterday. It says that I have an abdominal aortic aneurysm, and next Tuesday March 2, I have an appointment to have a CAT scan of the area. In the meantime I'm walking on eggshells, and wishing I had never found out. I am frightened."

If you will read the story of George's life, already on Angelwings, entitled "Living by Grace" in the index, you will see that George didn't need any more problems.

George's name was, immediately, entered on the prayer board.

March 2, 1999. George sent another E mail to me:

"Love and prayer has got to be on my side. I had the cat-scan
at 2:22 pm. March 2, to-day.

The Radiologist showed me the picture on the computer screen. He said " It looks normal to me" and the on call surgeon said the same thing as well.

I am waiting for the second round of ultrasound results, that will be in a couple of weeks....."

On Wednesday, March 3, 1999, I received another E mail from George and he said that our prayers were working. His first test results were clean. He gave the reason as prayer and faith. He had not received his second test results but we kept praying in faith that they would come back negative also.

On March 8, George wrote me the following note:

"I am still in limbo about that cat-scan, I got a letter from the VA. in Bedford Ma. and it still warns me about the artery bubble. My follow up visit is on March 23 or so."

Finally George could stand it no longer so he wrote to the Chief of Surgery at the VA and asked if the results were in.

March 10, 1999, George wrote:

"My heart was beating so fast when I saw a letter from the chief of arterial surgery in my in-box folder. I must have been shaking all over while it was opening. The knuckles on my left hand were as white as new falling snow."

But George was to receive, yet, another miracle from God. When he opened the mail from the Chief Surgeon, here is
what it stated:

"I am happy to say that the review of your CT shows no evidence of an AAA.

This is great news, and you do not have a time bomb in your abdomen.

I have the report on my desk, but have not had time to call you.

The ultrasound misread one of your loops from your previous surgery as aneurysm. The CT is much a more sensitive exam, and excluded the diagnosis of an AAA.

No further evaluation for AAA is needed."

WHO SAYS GOD IS NOT IN CONTROL?? TO HIM BE ALL MAJESTY, HONOR AND GLORY.
