God Repays A Kindness

About 5 years ago. I was driving my father-in-law's truck he had loaned to me for transporting some bulky items I couldn't fit in our car. It was winter with lots of snow on the ground. I saw my son's friend walking, so I pulled over to the side of the road to ask him if he needed a ride home. Just then, his mom drove up and gave him a ride. So he was all set and they drove off. When I started to drive off as well, I realized that I had pulled too far off the road and was stuck. I went to the closest house to see if I could use their phone to call my husband to come out with the car and help somehow. I called, and he came.

He couldn't budge the truck, then our car wouldn't start. I had been having a bad day that day, and a difficult year. I was on the verge of tears when two vehicles pulled up simultaneously, one from one direction and one from the other. One of the vehicles was an old pick up truck and a man in ragged clothing with a very joyous attitude asked my husband what the problem was. The other vehicle was a fancy car with two nicely dressed men who came up to me at the truck window and, with no expression, said the same thing. What is the problem? Before either my husband or I could answer, the two men from the car went to the back of the truck and pushed it out of the ditch, while the other man from the truck somehow got our car started. Then they all left before I could thank them. I remember looking in the rear view mirror to see them but they were already gone. They never said anything other than- "What is the problem?" I thought then the incident was rather strange and have remembered it often since. Had God sent angels to help us or was it just 3 people who stopped to do a kindness? Whatever it was, I know that He sent help that day.
