Why did I name this site "Incredible Journeys Into Eternity"
instead of naming it
"Incredible Journeys To Eternity?" To Eternity indicates
a permanent stay.
Into Eternity indicates a temporary state from which you have
a choice to return.

Many accounts have been given in recent years of people who
have been pronounced clinically dead, yet they returned to this
life for various reasons.
In so many of these stories, the deceased has been allowed to
return for unselfish reasons. In some, they were sent back and
told what lessons it is important to learn in this life. Most
of them say they were told that love, (love for their fellowman
and for humanity as a whole, not romantic love) was one of the
most important things we are to learn. A giving of ourselves to
others. A sharing. The ones who did not request to return were
reluctant to do so. Some tried to abort the revival attempts made
by the hospital staff but they could not make themselves known.
They wanted to stay in the beautiful place in which they found
themselves. Some attempted to push hospital staff away from their
bodies as survival tactics were employed but to no avail. Their
touch was neither felt nor recognized. In fact, some say, as they
put out their hand to touch someone, their hand went through the
body of the person they were attempting to contact. No one in
the operating room could hear them nor feel their touch.
No two accounts are exactly alike in every detail but they bear a remarkable similarity that cannot be denied. In a great number of them, some of the same events occurred, although different in other ways.
In Dr. Raymond A. Moody, Jr's book, Life After Life and Reflections On Life After Life, many heard a ringing or buzzing sound as they traveled through the tunnel on their return from this incredible journey. All report realizing that they were out of their physical bodies. Some hovering above an operating table upon which they see doctors and nurses attempting to revive them. In other cases, they have found themselves standing in a crowd watching attempts to remove their bodies from wrecked automobiles. They seem to recognize that the body belongs to them but they are remote from it. They feel that they are in a body but not a physical body such as the one they just left. Some have said they feel as if they are in a round ball yet they can feel appendages of a sort-arms and legs but not like the ones they were accustomed to. They can hear. They try to communicate but it is by thought, not audible words. They have found if they wish to be someplace else all they have to do is think the thought and they are there. Time is nonexistent as they knew it while they occupied their former bodies.
Most of these souls, but not all, have traveled through a tunnel,
of sorts, and have seen a brilliant light at the end of that tunnel.
Most say they feel that it is Jesus. Others say it is just a light
and they are not sure who or what it was but they have communicated
with the being in the light and have been shown every deed they
have ever done. They tell of seeing events where they have hurt
others deeply and as they are reviewing the incident, they feel
all of the hurt, pain, disappointment and misery they caused the
other person. Not all accounts share this incident. Perhaps it
is because some have traveled farther into the journey than others.
Some have reported seeing the gates of hell open for them. In
most cases that have been reported that I have read, only a few
have said they saw such but the bible tells us that the road to
hell is wide and the road to heaven is a narrow one and many more
will be in hell than in heaven.
None have reported having gone through an actual "judgment"
such as the one we are told of in God's word, but……………..JUDGMENT
DAY HASN'T ARRIVED YET.
But it will someday. God says it, I believe it and that's enough
for me. What will await you at the end of the tunnel? Light or
DARKNESS????
