| This is a true story.
My name is John and I'm a Christian. I still sin but I know God always forgives me. This story happened 20 years ago.
I was in the Navy when I found out that my dad was near death. He had an ulcer that ruptured and was coughing up lots of blood. I was not living right for the Lord at this time. I was upset and didn't have much money so I couldn't go out with my friends that night. A Christian sensed something was wrong with me. He offered to pray with me. I cried like a baby asking God's forgiveness and also praying for my father who was near death. I was in Florida and my father was at the Veterans Hospital in Pittsburgh. After praying for a long time with the Christian friend I got tired and decided to turn in for the night. The room in which I slept was very dark and no light came in. I fell asleep and started to have an X rated dream. This was satan's plan to steal my joy. I actually had awakened from this dream because I was of a pure mind at that time. I sat up in my bed and asked God "why am I dreaming this dream when I want to be so close to you ?" At that time I looked in the room and saw a cloud coming together. It formed a vision which was Jesus standing at the foot of my bed. There were also sheep grazing and laying next to Jesus on an emerald green field. A peace that passes all understanding came over me. Jesus then told me "You can rest now my sheep". At that point I went back to sleep and rested very comfortably. The next morning I called home and my dad was alive and healed. He lived an additional 13 years after that. Praise the Lord. I just wanted to share this with someone.
