Tammy had a beautiful singing voice. Teresa was artistic.
They both loved music
& each had a good sense of humor. Tammy cherished depictions
of God's angels. She was clever with word puzzles and an avid
reader of John Grisham novels. Teresa loved animals and always
had a pet dog. She was a champion of the downtrodden.
They both wore their hair long and had pretty brown eyes. Tammy's
hair was dark brown and Teresa's hair was lighter brown.
As much as Tammy and Teresa were different, they were alike. Both
were genuinely sweet and kind. Their impressionable and sensitive
natures did make them vulnerable
to undue influence. Charming girls, with "a personal presence"
like their daddy's. People liked them and were drawn to them.
They had just enough harmless mischief to be fun-loving. They
enjoyed a good joke, even if the joke was on them. The sound of
their laughter and the affectionate way they said "Daddy"
echoes in our world. Beautiful girls, with sunshine smiles we
will always see with the eyes of our hearts.
This description was written by Nadine.
These two sisters died just two months apart. They will
always be remembered for their place in this life and the joy
they brought to their family and to those who knew them.
The following pages consist of Memorials written to each
girl by their step-mother, Nadine Bass Mitchell, and for their
father, Seth Mitchell. They were written, as you will see, from
her heart and with fond thoughts and memories of both girls.
They have, graciously, agreed to share these memories with us and our appreciation goes to them for allowing us to view a glimpse of the daughters that they loved so much.
Thank you Seth and Nadine
